GENERAL AND PREVENTATIVE DENTISTRY
We are highly motivated to encourage our patients to continue with regular check ups. This will assist us with focusing on the early detection of problems and prevention if possible. We like to get know our patients, examine their oral health, present any issues and then go through the options available.
PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY
We have a dedicated focus on ensuring that your child’s visit to the dentist is positive and fun. Again prevention is better than cure but we will intervene and treat if necessary. We have strategies in place that will encourage your child to work with us and feel comfortable in the chair. We also accept the Child Dental Benefit Scheme that is run through Medicare.
Children that are eligible will receive a full refund from Medicare.
PROSTHODONICS
Full and partial dentures are a precise art. Here at Ararat Dental we pride ourselves in completeing excellent prosthetic work that will fit comfortably and look great.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
We offer root canal treatment for those who have an irreversibly damaged pulp. It is a procedure that is done over a number of visits, but is an option available instead of extractions for specific cases.
MOUTH GUARDS AND NIGHT GUARDS
We provide sporting enthusiasts with custom mouthguards, and for patients who clench or grind we offer slim custom night guards. These both help to protect the teeth for longer use.
SLEEP DENTISTRY
Dr Charles Reid and Dr Jennifer Sampson specialise in sleep disorders. A referral from a GP and sleep physician is required.
EMERGENCIES
We understand that at times patients require urgent care. Whether its due to a fractured tooth or filling, dental trauma or an infection within the mouth. We endeavor to see all emergencies as quickly as we can.
